UGC NET December 2025: Eligibility Criteria

  • Educational Qualification:
    Candidates must hold a Master’s degree (or equivalent) with at least 55% marks (50% for OBC-NCL/SC/ST/PwD/Third Gender).
    Final-year students can also apply provisionally.

  • Age Limit:

    • JRF: Maximum age = 30 years (relaxation as per category).

    • Assistant Professor: No upper age limit.
