According to CBSE Class 9th and 10th New Syllabus the updated curriculum, the chapters deleted. Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) slashed the syllabus for Classes 9 to 12 by, at least, 30% due to the corona virus pandemic.
According to (HRD) Ministry officials, the syllabus has been to reduce the burden on students but the core concepts have been retained.
Considering the loss of classroom teaching time due to the Covid-19 pandemic and lockdown. CBSE reduced the syllabus of classes 10 with the help of suggestions from NCERT.
The government said the decision was taken after consultation with school heads and teachers.
